Drawing defense

I play a really slow brigade (red) I hate speed but am now facing the fact
that I need to draw more than three cards per turn when facing a disciples
deck. Which defense would be the best at drawing? I figure a drawing defense
would be pretty much the only way I could get a Red deck to draw.

Gray. Not only is it fast, but it's probably the best with red (if anything is good with red).

I agree, I use Pharisees in my 50 card Red deck, It's not as fast as Disciples but it's moderately fast. You should try it.

What drawing cards does gray have?
Proud Pharisee, Namaan's Chariot, and Tenants Kill the Son. Combine with Romans, and you can get a little more. Also, be sure to have Namaan.

I think the whole point of Pharsees is to have a smaller defence so you can use more red cards.

According to the OP, the point is to have more drawing to speed up the deck (and thus I assume be able to use the red cards he already has). The decision to make the defence smaller should be based on the playstyle of the deck user.

Well, actually both are legit options.
I right now am trrying to get my deck to do better than 9th place, anything would work.
(I'm probably going to make both and test them out)
If I'm playing gray then I would definatly have Balaam, (cuz he uses gray) mostly because of Balaam's
disobedience and to get my Rain Becomes dust and Confusion of Mind back if/when destroyed

It's not my idea it's just a standard defense meant for speed and pulling off a few blocks. It's all over the boards from when M. Polarius was describing how amazing King M. was going to be for different defenses after last years nats and I must admit he was correct.

Let me clarify that Manasseh was the ruler of all defense only before T2 ruined Golgotha for all of us.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Manasseh isn't good T2 but is excellent in T1. Actually I'd say Abe's Kids ruined T2 along with Golgotha.

You're obviously not a T2 player. ::)
