Great question. If they're added to the REG I can add them all to RTS. If they're available in RTS then they're ROOT legal.

Maybe the two brigade specific abilities will be a little more exciting. Can you give us an idea when we get to know those? If they're at a simliar power level to the first two, I beg you to let us choose 2 abilities per Hero or add "cannot be negated" to the one ability we get.

Maybe another solution to "up" the power level and make these more playable is to combine two brigades for each Hero. That would make it more logical that we can only have one per deck. It will help them mesh with the Seeker, Soldier, FSP theme they're promoting. The blue & purple are already begging to be combined.

Presently we're talking about a 4/4-6/6 single color character with one ability that is on the low side of average. What I know of the current offer is exciting as a collector but not from a deck building/game play standpoint.

... and that is the point, really. We don't want people who come to nationals to have a major advantage over those who can't make it there. A 4/4 N.T. hero with a minorly helpful ability is nice, or a 6/6 N.T. banding hero might be nice, but none of these are going to be strong enough to really make or break a deck. They are a fun little addition - especially for kids. But I doubt we will see very many in the top 10 decks at nationals next year.

That said, Kurt and I know what we are getting for our cards, and they are not the access or banding abilities.

While not OP, my 4/5* NT green prophet hero will be an upgrade to Agabus in my T2 decks, so I am happy. If the other SA gives me a little extra then that's great. That is, IF I can make it to Nats.

I know I have plenty of incentive now.

(* I'm still contemplating 4/5 or 4/6. At 4/5 I need a couple of Chemosh hits, whereas with 4/6 I just need to be Wounded...I can't decide right now. guess I'll have to play some RTS practice games with someone to see how they work.)

Unfortunately, with the absence of Teal...green prophet is the closest thing that describes my calling/job/spiritual gift.

Also, I agree with Gabe. I think if we choose just one SA that we should have CBN as an option for not choosing 2 SAs.

Finally, either number that I wanted for my abilities were not offered which is kind of a bummer. 1/1 for strategy purposes or 7/7 for collective purposes (my favorite number which also represents completeness-->because I'm complete in Christ). I can't even add 2 of the numbers (like 3/4) to make it to 7. That is the biggest bummer for me overall.

However, I didn't want to end on a sour note. I think this is a GREAT idea, and I will make 1 for sure and maybe 2 or 3. I would love seeing my mug in all my decks.
