How do you turn off the Items on the Vc verson? Thanks in advance!

If its SSB the original, you have to unlock the item switch.  I forgot what the requirements are, but you can look it up on practically any game site.  I pwn at the original SSB

"To get the Item Switch, which allows you to alter all item related aspects of the game in versus mode, simply play 100 VS. mode matches of any length."

it's been on it for quite awhile.

I do love it, one of the few reason's I have kept my vintage N64 around.  I use to play it for hours on end during High School.  I used to be good enough to take 3 level 9's on a team against me.  Maybe I will bring my N64 to the next Tourney I host.  I need to brush off my SSB skillz!  N00bs beware your in for a scare!
