How do you turn off the Items on the Vc verson? Thanks in advance!

Virtual Console

If its SSB the original, you have to unlock the item switch.  I forgot what the requirements are, but you can look it up on practically any game site.  I pwn at the original SSB :)

Looked it up and:


"To get the Item Switch, which allows you to alter all item related aspects of the game in versus mode, simply play 100 VS. mode matches of any length."

I do love it, one of the few reason's I have kept my vintage N64 around.  I use to play it for hours on end during High School.  I used to be good enough to take 3 level 9's on a team against me.  Maybe I will bring my N64 to the next Tourney I host.  I need to brush off my SSB skillz!  N00bs beware your in for a scare! :)

I played it on a N64 with bad controllers and still loved it now i us my vc!
