I'd really like to see a dynamic wherein a special ability causes opponents to swap hands.

Or EVEN better, A New Beginning reprint where the players swap decks prior to drawing eight and starting a new turn.

I think the "fun factor" would increase exponentially with those type of special abilities.

That is an very interesting idea.  It would definitely force someone to get use to playing other decks and styles.  I like!!!

Yeah, play green and gray.  Search for that card and fill the rest of your deck with junk.  Brilliant!  Better yet, play your SoG/NJ as fast as possible, then play this card.  Brilliant!

I can't tell if you were being sarcastic with this or not... I think its a really good idea, Because if you do build a 'Junk' deck, you could simply lose before you get a chance to play it, since you wont have anything decent in it.
Something like that would just be way too much, I agree. It's a cool idea, but...no. Maybe temporarily?

Or a Dominant - Chaos - when played simultaneously with Mayhem you may choose to keep as many cards from your hand before shuffling and redrawing to 6 for Mayhem.

100% Sarcasm.  It looks like a fun idea but it is too easily abused.  All you have to do is load your deck with drawing and searching and then WAM!  Switch decks and walk in for easy rescues.  The kicker though is how you could potentially have 4 Redeemed Souls from SoG/NJ x2.
May you prosper greatly!

No, it has to be an orange demon. Then, the set after that can have a new prophet, Andrew. That would just make redemption leet.

(A few years back Ring Wraith predicted an Orange Demon named Chaos would be printed)

I wish that half of the weapon class enhancements weren't TERRIBLE. Sling, Sword of Justice, etc. etc. etc.

I wish there were more Judean Royalty and cards referring to them.

I wish there were more beasts, and cards dealing with them.

I wish there were more ways and incentive to play non-themed cards.

I wish that playing without dominants (or at least some of them) was a viable way to win more games.

I like most of Perri's suggestions.  Especially the one about needing to reduce the number of dominants. (waht about THEMED DOMINANTS?!?!  If played while and Assyrian is in battle, do something really nasty!)

I think that there should be a Nativity Theme.  I think this is something that has LONG been lacking in Redemption.  There are few nativity heros, Few Nativity enahancements.  I would like to see more nativity Themed enhancements, heroes Arts/Forts/ and such

If you havent Guessed, I like themes.  I think that half the fun I have in Redemtion is to build decks with different themes and play them.

Hm....well, I'm an Egyptian freak, so I'd like to see some artifacts and fortresses based for Egyptians.  They have plenty of members, but are perhaps a little stretched for support.
I'd like to see some way to stop all the pure anti gold counters. Maybe a territory class enhancement that negates abilities that target a specific single brigade.
Well, there is already pharoah's throne room (negates ignore abilities if you have a egyptian king, I think).

Best ideas so far in my opinion:

judges need a gold jepath,...and a good samson.
I wish Philistines had an updated Goliath.
Judges theme had a way to force evil Characters into play
Apostles) had a way to perform mass conversion
teal tabernacle/solomon's temple themes had a way to tie them together better
I wish Romans had a protect fortress[or alternative like the Phillistines do].
give Red brigade heroes protection from CBN/CBI abilities would be awesome for it's negating theme.
Syrians really need...ways to get rid of capture protection.
I wish that half of the weapon class enhancements weren't TERRIBLE.
I wish that playing without dominants (or at least some of them) was a viable way to win more games.

For the people who complain about themes, here's my view: Themes, in general, are good. And all evidence points to the fact that the card makers think so, too. Absence of brigade themes in the past is what allowed the ever-hated speed archtype to become the dominant strategy for a long time, making the game no fun. I'm sure some other specific set of cards would become the only strategy seriously used if we allowed cards to made without brigade-oriented themes once again.

If you still don't like themes, I wouldn't try to get rid of them, because quite frankly it isn't going to work. However, I do believe it would be nice to make themes more easily blendable, as they have strated to do with cards like Zadok Anoints Solomon, Astrologers, Damsel with Spirit of Divination, Jeremiah, Herod Agrippa II, Pleading for the City, High Priest's Palace, etc. This allows for more options, and thus more freedom, which I assume is the real reason anyone would want to get rid of themes in the first place.

1. Red needs more weapons and FbtN
2. Gold needs teeth against Immunity and Demons (especially Immune Demons)
3. Demons need a way to get from territory into/beneath your deck and Warrior/Weapon Class.
4. Greeks need everything.
5. Brown needs to be less random.
6. Philistines need some way to not get pwnt by Grail.
7. Persians need Cyrus, as they have for some time.
8. Apostles need everything (in Green, since so many are Prophets anyway)
9. Deacons need everything (in Blue or Purple, since they are the only Brigades with no N.T. theme)
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

7. Persians need Cyrus, as they have for some time.

Question: Would he be Good or Evil? He was a pagan king, but pretty much everything about him in the Bible was good stuff, as far as I know. I would argue that he should join the ranks of Queen of Sheba and King Hiram, foreign royalty who helped God's people.

I'd have him start out evil, and then self-convert through a condition regarding prophets.

I suggest a flip card like Saul/Paul.

I think Green prohpets need a card that can un-remove a card from play, that way wickedness removed might actually see some more play.

Yeah, what RDT said.  Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket!

yeah, more flip cards would be way cool.

And they could make Cyrus be more dynamic than Saul/Paul, i.e. something along the lines of "while a Babylonian or prophet is in play, Cyrus is a hero".

I'm pretty sure removal was introduced as a way to ensure that a card would never again affect anything in a particular game, after recursion from discard became possible. I don't think anything will ever un-remove a card from the game. That just seems silly.

yup, there are many cards in yugioh that can fetch a card back from the rfg pile. they usually come with a steep cost though, and they're surprisingly not broken either.

Instead of wanting cards that un-remove other cards, IMO, we need other cards like Cov w/ Eden that redirect a card being removed to the d/c pile.  That makes more sense to me.
