Lost 4-5. He got both GoyS before my FA and FA before my GoyS, but I was able to outspeed Disciples with a balanced deck. That says a lot about how far the game has come.

Wrong ROOT thread ::)

2 quick questions: If we will be using a new hamachi group, what is it/will it be? and If we are using the same group, when will those of us not already in it be able to join it?
Just one more thing...

You can use any Hamachi group (I'm LFG is another popular one).

Prof U, instead of waiting until November, can we implement the Dom cap deck building rule this month?
I appreciate your eagerness, but as a scientist, I know that for an experiment to be helpful it is important to isolate your variables.  That is why the first 3 months of ROOT for this season are each trying a single new rule possibility (Intro-Prep, only taking opp's LSs, and Dom cap).  After we get feedback from these 3 experiments we'll have a better idea about each of them individually, and then perhaps we might try a combo of 2 or 3 of them for the Dec ROOT.

2 quick questions: If we will be using a new hamachi group, what is it/will it be? and If we are using the same group, when will those of us not already in it be able to join it?
The same Hamachi group will still be used, and I'll evict anyone who is not continuing from last month's ROOT (that will open a couple spots probably).  I will also be adding a second Hamachi group for ROOT players that will just be for people who are NOT already in the first group.  If you have a game on a given week against someone who is in the other group than you, then simply arrange a time to meet by PM and then both log in to the "I'm LFG" group.  There is always room in there because people are ONLY in that group while they are actively looking for a game, and then they withdraw when they are out of time.  The password is "currently".

The 1st round pairings are posted.

The hamachi group has been cleared of people from last month who aren't playing this month, which has opened several spots there for this month's players.

There is also a new hamachi group for those who don't join the old one before it fills back up.

And sibilance, for that matter.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I beat Red 5-1. I had an absolutely ridiculous draw (Hur + Gifts first round, drew Mayhem off it, and got my hand size down to five cards to play it on his draw). Three round win, all luck.

1) It's in the OP (page 1)
2) it's full so it doesn't really matter

thanks for the update. I am runnign into some odd technical problems with Hamachi. I will open the application and it wil show "connecting" for quite some  time, i.e 20 minutes, before telling me the connection failed. Is this normal? any suggestions on resolving this?

That is not normal, but I don't know how to fix it.  I would suggest uninstalling Hamachi and then reinstalling it.  Sometimes that has helped people resolve Hamachi issues in the past.

Actually I might know someone who could join.  I'd have to ask him, but my brother might want to.
