Hey guys watch out! I'm finally setting up my 2010 tournaments starting with a district. Here is the current info!

Knoxville, TN--February 27, 2010

District Tournament. Host: Chris Fachman, crashfach2002@hotmail.com. Location: Colonials Heights United Methodist Church, 6321 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. $8.00 registration fee then Type 1 - 2 Player (free), Type 2 - 2 Player (free), Type 1 - Teams (free), Type 1 - Multi- player (free) and Closed Deck - 2 Player (15.00). Starts: 9:00a.m.

If you would let me know if you are planning on attending let me know! I will let me know how much time I need to spend for each type!

Just so you guys know, I have permission from the man himself (Rob) that if I have enough people ask me to, I can extend my tournament and include Friday night. Now if I do this, the tournament will actually be at a different place, and church closer to GA & west/middle TN, that is big enough for everyone to stay the night there! You will need something to sleep on, but there are showers. Let me know what you think, so I can tell my friend we want to use his church!

If it ends up being in Knoxville, I'm likely to attend if I can get a physical deck built. However, Knoxville is already pushing it for me, and if the alternate location ends up being much farther from Nashville, I probably won't come.

If you come I-40, which people from middle TN probably will, it is about 30-45 minutes closer than the original location!

Hey Clift and/or Eric, if you guys don't care try to see what the guys in GA want to do. If most of you want to come up Friday and stay we will plan on doing that, or if 2 days is too much of a pain, then we will just do one day.

If someone from the Nashville area wants to check it out for me too, that would be great! I know my guys here don't care either way.

I'm just a little concerned because if all of my guys show up I've got almost 10 guys, so expect about 6 or 7, but I hope they can all come.

from what i can see there wont be anyone coming up except people that were at the last tourny. Josh, my nephew, me...and we dont mind driving up, whatever is easiest for you chris.

I don't have anything planned yet, but I can put one together, it is more how everyone feels about it. If we decide to do Friday and Saturday, I'd like to play Closed Deck & maybe Type 2 on Friday night, just so we can focus only on Type 1 on Saturday. But I know the GA guys perfer to play Type 2, so if they can only come on Saturday, I might play teams or Type 1 multi on Friday night instead of Type 2.

wow, alright matt! but please dont bring no sin in the camp decks. i couldnt handle any paybacks. cya soon! oh yea and bring some pictures of that new kid too

i prefer t1 and teams and BD on saturday cause my dad has to work on weekdays i think i hope i can make it

Oh no, no sitc this time, I got something better cooking in type 2! and I will have plenty of pictures of the Kid.

as for the schedule, I have a 5-6 hour drive so I wont be able to make it on Friday and was planning on just getting up real early on Sat to come down so if you play anything on Friday I cant participate. I would like to play in Type II -2 player, and type 1- multiplayer but I will play whatever is available if those wont work.

I can get Feb 27th off probably, but I am not sure about Friday. Please do Type 2 categories on Saturday.

I'll have to let Rob know before it becomes "official," but we will do closed & teams on Friday night & Type 1 - 2p & mp & Type 2 - 2p on Saturday! If you want to come down on Friday night, that would be cool! If not we will start on Saturday as soon as you get here! I'm also double checking about the alternative location, should know about that tomorrow!

How come we played cards just the other night at your house, and I have heard no such info on an alternate location? Are we friends? Clift, dotty and chris said you were giving me a hard time about not coming to your last tournament, Are we friends?

It's because it isn't official yet, and no need to bring it up to the home crowd until it is a definate! Besides I'd make you come no matter where it is! Oh, about the are we friends question, that hasn't been determined yet!

Hey guys, the tourney is going to be at the original location (Colonial Heights). Sorry for even mentioning the other place, it will be the place we play if I get the State tournament. We are going to play Closed Deck & Teams on Friday night. Type 1 - 2p & multi-player & Type 2 2p on Sat. Let me know for sure if you are coming Friday night, I have some room at my house for you to crash!

Ok I got off that saturday and I was already off friday so it looks like me and Clift and maybe Josh and possibly Daniel Whitten can all make the trip friday and be there at night.

OK good to know we finally have a definite location. I am going to come definitly and I will be bringing a Type II guru, Jonathan Pequinot. I may come down friday night, but only to crash since I wont get off of work until 4:00 or so. I will only be playing in the saturday categories.

BTW. If there is ANY way we can play either closed deck or TEAMS on Saturday instead of type 1 Multi that would be great. But you are the boss of the tourney and get to make those executive decisions so I will be fine either way.

I will make plans to come to colonial heights Next Sat and see you all!

My preference would be Type II 2 player, Type 1 2 player, and closed or Teams. Jonathan doesnt have a preference other than he wants to play Type II and has a Wicked deck that he wants to unleash on everyone there. It has been clobering me so I am lookign forward to seeing it beat up on someone else for a change.

I am already maxxxed out in type 1 Multi-player and I will play if it is the only thing available, but if something else is available at that time, I want play that. I would just rather play in a category where I could get the RNRS points.
