Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics, for school.
Ironically, I'm reading that for school as well.
Even more ironically I am reading it for pleasure.

im pushing through most of the Ted Dekker books right now im in Showdown.

In the table in order are
Saint
Sinner
Kiss
Saint=pure wyn
Sinner=epic fail.
Kiss=I enjoyed it, but it didn't really have too many twists. (a few)

I'm currently reading Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem and I just finished Kiss, so I expect to start another one next week.

My school offers that class, actually.

Just started St. Augustine's Confessions, nearly finished already.

I've been getting into some classics lately. I just finished Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, and am currently reading 1984, by George Orwell. So far I love it!

If you havent, read Fahrenheit 451 as well. Similar to 1984, but a little more action involved near the end.

You know, I've heard a lot of mixed reports about that book. It was taken off the classics list at my school for some reason. :dunno: I'm curious now.

Some questionable material in the book may be the cause.

Well, not all of it; just the first four or so books and write a 2-3 page paper on it.

When we read the Gilgamesh epic, there were some words redacted with black sharpie. Problem solved, and we still read Gilgamesh. Middlebury is a heavily Amish/ Mennonite community, but they are quite pragmatic in this respect

So yeah, I talked to Jael until 2, downloaded Rosetta Stone and drilled Latin until 3, and now I'm discussing the rise of the Ubermensch with one of my philosophy schoolmates/associates. I'll pop some adderoll at five, put some tea on the kettle, read Ethics, and write my paper.

Not something I would recommend making a habit.  Its not healthy to get into a schedule like that.

Probably not, though I do take it routinely so I didn't get off my norm too much, just lost some sleep.
