What a great game!

I truly enjoyed this year's Super Bowl. I had a couple things going in my favor: I was co-host (with my roommates) to a pretty good party to which many of my really good friends came. Although I was rooting for the Cardinals, I placed a "loser buys lunch" bet on the Steelers with my roommates (there's 4 of us but three of us were rooting for the Cards, so I bet on the Steelers to make the bet easier) so either way I was fine with the outcome.

All that beside, what a great game! We saw the best passing attack in the league do its thing while the best defense in the league did a great job containing that attack at times. Amazing plays made by both offenses and both defenses. Some really good coaching--I thought there was no way that the Cardinals would win that first challenge.

Just a really fun game for a football fan to watch!

i agree, very epic game. i expected the steelers to win by a very large margin, so i was pleasantly surprised when it became a close game. i was pulling for the cards too, and i can only imagine what could have happened if they didnt make so many mistakes or give up 100+ yards to penalties...

...or give up 100+ yards to penalties...

Mike Holmgrem might have an answer to that.

Hey, how about that vaunted Steeler defense?...not

Love how Rooney mentions Obama.  Not sure I like what the love triangle of Rooney/Obama/Goodell will do to the NFL.  Oh well.

My three favorite all-time players: Montana, Rice, Barry Sanders.  If there ever was someone I wanted to break Rice's post-season receiving records, it is Larry Fitzgerald.  He's a true joy to watch.

Why, oh why, do defensive coordinators feel the need to blitz on 3rd down?  Ugh.

Obviously, the great propaganda machine has portrayed things the way they want, but in my opinion the Steelers escaped with a win.

What the heck was Matt Millen doing on yesterday's broadcast?!?!

Between the game, commercials and halftime show I was just about asleep.  Then the 4th quarter arrived.

James Harrison is simply a thug.

The Cardinals offense can't tackle.  If you can get a turnover against them, more than likely it will be a TD.

Remember a long time ago when they did an entire football game telecast without announcers?  Seems like a good idea now to implement that full time.

To Moe, Larry and Curly who were covering Holmes on the TD: go apologize to your entire team.

That was a sharp suit Warner had on.  Class guy all around.

Although it has a funny ending, I think it will come back to haunt the Pittsburgh organization when they dissed the Mean Joe Greene classic commercial.

Did anyone think that Springsteen would ever get back up after he did that back bend move?  Good thing the mike was there.

Why will Arizona be back next year?  Good coaching.

Why will Pittsburgh be back next year?  Big Ben's contract forbids him to come within 500 feet of a motorcycle.

Who will be in the Super Bowl next year?  Two different teams.  Goodell likes Obama's idea of change.

Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

I will have to say, I like the NFL's experiment of trying to make the actual game exciting.

What the heck was Matt Millen doing on yesterday's broadcast?!?!
So the other announcers could say things like, "The Rooneys sure know how to rebuild a football team, unlike one of us sitting here." -and- "Hey, Matt, could you compare Roy Williams' career so far with Larry Fitzgerald's?"

You're just in the pocket of the big-money Whisenhunt posse.
