Does Speech allow you to negate TC enhancements?

I like the Fruit theme. Looking forward to seeing the rest of them.

Speech is a nice way to stop Belshazzar's Banquet and similar Lost Soul protectors.

Making Joy a 7/0 enhancement would not accomplish the increase effect, unless it was a weapon. Placed cards do not contribute any abilities/numbers they have to the card they are placed on.

It also doesn't appear to be a permanent increase. The colon (:) on the card is shorthand for "While placed," so the increase would fall off if Joy is removed from the Hero (much like the protection and CBN-granting part).

The colon "ruling" has existed for several sets, it's not new with this card. We were just clarifying that the increase was not, in fact, permanent.

That will be cool if it works like that. Is there any major differences between this card and covenant of noah in effectiveness? Can these cards stop DOU or I thought cove of noah couldnt work vs DOU?

Covenant with Noah negates an enhancement under default targeting. It cannot target DOU by the time it resolves, because it is out of play. Speech negates last enhancement, so it can target out of play.
