Noah in Egypt

Though it should be implied by now, know that I haven't tested this deck yet. It's not even built; this is a concept based on Red's Noah/Egypt deck with updates. Since I've only ever run Flood with animals and am only passingly familiar with how modern Egyptians play, suggestions and advice are most welcome. As always.

Even with the nerf, I would still probably run Besieging the City.

Agreed, there's no way I don't include BtC in a Gold defense.

Kinda surprised there's no Swift Horses or Wonders Forgotten either.

Any consideration to Pharaoh's Throne Room as a way to make The Flood more one-sided?

With ANB's reset power, have you considered dropping FBTN LS and going harder into additional up-front value LS?  Darkness, Open Hands, etc.

I had a very successful Ark deck awhile back, and one thing I would definitely recommend is increasing your "First-turn" Ark potential. I would swap The Flood and Faith of Noah, and you completely left out Pitch & Gopher Wood. 2 By 2 is another good option--I put Behemoth and Fire Foxes in Reserve so it had nice versatility.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Also, which version of Noah's Ark do you see yourself using?

@Josh-

I'd probably be inclined to do BtC if I was doing more of a chump style gold defense, with M&W and Failed Objective for full scum. But I wanted to try out the newer stuff for more power (and I'm not really a fan of BtC). That said, even though I don't like it, I could see BtC over Envy. Or Swift Horses. Wonders Forgotten is not great with CoP and YWR being things often seen.

I don't think Pharaoh's Throne Room is worth it. I'm on the fence about the Flood as well. I'd almost rather use Reuben's Torn Clothes.

I could see one of those LS being in for FBTN, though I have little answers to soul abilities then (lacking both Covet and Wanderer). I wouldn't be against trying it though.

@Guardian-

Between Egypt, Faith -> Faith of Noah, and 7 Years, is that not enough ways to Ark? Pitch is something I think I could live without, but if Ark is routinely discarded or something it would go back in easily. Swapping Flood and Faith of Noah sounds good to me since Flood is something I rarely used in my Ark deck last year.

The Noah's Ark is the promo version. I wouldn't ever use the other one since Japheth's Wife is only useful with the promo.

Other thoughts:

Would I be better off doing Faith of Sarah instead of Faith of Isaac?

What would you swap if you wanted to fit in YWR?
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

I'll second Guardian's point - in my experience Flood is very much about making sure you can get Ark and Noah turn one as consistently as possible. To that end, my current Flood build runs Winds, Faith o Sarah, and Covenant of Eden for Noah and Faith of Noah, Two by Two, and Pitch & Gopher Wood for Ark, as well as 7 Years of Plenty and I am Creator in reserve with Forbidden Fruit, I am Gabe, and Book of the Covenant (for IaC) to grab them. This gets me both on turn one about 70% of the time (estimated), and at least one almost every game. My initial build also included Nimrod, although he got cut when I switched defenses from the generic PG I ran before PoC launched. Three is solid, but four is better, especially since many of them can either be flexible or stay out of your draws and in reserve if they're dead.

I also swapped Faith of Isaac for Jospeh's Silver Cup since it's basically the same effect more times, but ymmv (especially since you have other arts you want up every turn). I might swap Sun Worship for YWR - while it's a fun idea I don't think it's actually a very valuable card, and between Book and Forbidden Fruit it's not a difficult reserve pull, and it's something you definitely want to include since Shem's Wife can be a battlewinner when added to battle.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

You have a mono-blue offense and three of your defenders rep pale green. Therefore, I’d recommend a Second Bowl add-in.
