Wow! Lot's of new cards  ;D

Seems Daniel decks will become a power now and see some play! But my impression regarding crimson increases: This brigade becomes more and more OP IMHO!

Babylonian Seige Army is a pretty strong card; I love the versatile ability. Was there any reason why it’s ability didn’t have a condition of use, such as Assyrians Seige Army which required another Assyrian to be in play? I think BSA would benefit from such a condition, and it would also help keep it from being an auto splash defense IMHO.

I’m guessing it’s because there is no room on the card.  Also, it isn’t CBN like Assyrian Siege Army, so that probably factored in too.

There appears to be room. There’s a full space at the bottom enough to fit all of the wording. If it can be done on Outsiders gld/blk, it can be done on this. :) Yeah the CBN on ASA I’m sure is a factor.

Having revealed my deck list and having talked about how spotty the defense was before the new set this year, I would like to share a couple of cards that did not make my list but could have. The old Daniel beasts were good by themselves but were problematic if put in a deck together. Now they are not...

Terrifying Beast banding to Emperor Domitian to remove both banded heroes or cost two cards from hand.... Eep.

Bear looks like he'll be fun with the Persian stuff we've seen, too. Looking forward to these!

It’s even worse if your opponent’s hand is protected.

Always has been... I stopped running Crowds because of Entrapping.

On another note, between Leopard and Alex Greek banding could be a powerful strategy.

Speaking of banding, I’m glad TTB can band to any Roman now. Romans desperately need banding characters.

Very nice. It's good to see new versions of the Daniel Beasts, although I will miss their brigade immunities, as quite often that alone won me battles.

From my experience with a T2 Daniel deck and based on the cards I've seen so far, I can rank them in order of how good they look to me.
1) The Bear: Topdecking a Babylonian is such a nice ability for a Daniel deck, especially when he can band to a Persian, and being able to get a Persian from Reserve is nice too.

2) The Winged Lion:  Recurring evil enhancements is nice, especially nice ones like Nebechunezzar's Pride. Although to be fair, he mostly made it here because Crimson is the best Daniel brigade so far.

3) The Terrifying Beast: His ability probably should put him in first, but the lack of any real utility in a Daniel deck except his ability (he's grey and orange, neither of which have much in the way of enhancements) But his ability and numbers can sometimes win battles on their own (if their hand is protected or they have to underdeck their only usable enhancement).

4) The Winged Leopard: His ability is good, but lack of Daniel support and The Terrifying Beast's battle winning ability put him here. However, there are a couple of other Daniel Greeks, and with Alexander coming out, maybe he could have a place.

Either way, this is mostly my thoughts on the four of them as I look at them right now. Given some support and I could see my view of them change.

That being said, my analysis was just for in a Daniel deck. They all seem to work nicely along with their Civilization.
