If I lose in battle, did I relinquish a lost soul, did I get discarded, what if I discard myself for instance DoU works as a defeat on on survivor what about uzzah, since he discards himself does that count as losing a battle?

Defeat
A Hero is defeated when:
 The Hero is removed from the field of battle because of a special ability.
 The battle ends with the Hero being discarded by the numbers of the Evil Character(s) in
battle (except in the case of mutual destruction).
 The battle ends in a stalemate.
An Evil Character is defeated when:
 The Evil Character is removed from the battle because of a special ability (except for mutual
destruction by mutual removal)
 The battle ends with the Evil Character being discarded by the numbers of the Hero(es) in
battle.
 The battle ends with the Evil Character being ignored by a Hero or

Survivor who uses DoU was defeated, Uzzah who discards himself would be considered defeated as well.
