(NOTE: Brigade is not a problem because Kings is multi-brigade evil).
Great clarification that he isn’t multi-evil in play. As long as you have a crimson EC to play Tree on you can still place it on a Kings otE of a different brigade though.
It remains placed. If the condition isn’t met then you don’t get the benefit though.
If the character were converted back, the placed card would again work. Not to muddy the waters, but in this particular instance, Large Tree might work anyway. Back in TexP, we had not clearly defined (or even begun) the use of the " : " to signify conditional abilities. As such, Large Tree doesn't use the colon and based on current definitions, I don't think the "gain 1/1 and cannot be ignored" is dependent on it remaining on an evil King.I'm not certain if Large Tree has a play-as to treat the "Place on an evil King" as a condition.
Thank you, I did not have quick access to the ORCID.The place ability is an instant ability...as long as the requirement for placement was met at that time, the placed card can remain there.

He gets converted with Holy Grail to a Green Brigade hero. I then place on the repented Herod Agrippa II, the Belt of Truth PC. Would Large Tree fall of then, as Herod now as pro:crimson?
