1. Player A attacks with Chenaniah (Protect from next EH played this battle), Player B blocks with Emperor Galba with Gold Shield. Can Player B DC Gold Shield to convert Chenaniah, even though he is protected?

2. Can you target an immune character with a Side Battle card?

3. Can you negate Heavy Taxes? It does not say "End the Battle, CBN."

4. RA with Moses and play Ambush the City, does the FbtN transfer over to the Side Battle? Does the same apply to when a side battle is made, and a FbtN enhancement is played?

5. If an enhancement is played on a hero in territory and that hero makes a RA and immediately uses and discards that enhancement, can the opponent block with a FbtN EC and negate it? Or since it's already discarded, it CBN?

1: You cannot target a protected hero. No.

2: Same answer as 1

3: If the battle is over you cannot negate because the battle is over.

4: Yes. FBTN targets all cards in the field of battle.

5: A FBTN character can't negate it because it is not in play. A negate last could because it was the last enh in battle.

addendum:

1. is gold shield actually 'played' if its already attached to an evil character? it seems to me it just activates in battle, but not actually 'played'...

I'm not sure because it still is viable to be killed with a negate last...so wouldn't it be the first?
