Their verse reads: "And the Philistines called for the priests and diviners..." I Samuel 6:2. The case for this is rather loose, but I think the more magicians we have, the better.

Nope. "and" indicates two groups of people. Maybe you should suggest a new card called: Philistine Magicians.
