This will be the last ROOT tournament for the 2011-2012 Season. If you still want to join, post here, and I will give you a matchup for next week.

There is no rule modification for gameplay/deckbuilding, but there will be a reduced time limit of 75 minutes (turtles beware). This time limit can be waived if both opponents agree to do so, but 75 minutes will be the default time limit instead of the usual 2 hours.

One other note: All posts made by Monday night/early Tuesday morning will be counted as official, unless it is contradicted by an opponent. That is to say that if your opponent claims you ghosted him, he will be given the ghost unless you contradict him (in which case you will need to present necessary PMs to me). The same goes for any games that happened/did not happen. If you want to receive your correct points for the week, make sure you post here on time, otherwise your game may not be counted as having been played, or your opponent will get a ghost. The best situation obviously is to be able to play and report scores in time, but if you know you are going to ghost/be ghosted, try to let myself and your opponent know ahead of time so that correct points can be given.

There will be five rounds, lasting through the last week in July.

In that case its probably best to not join this month. You would get a bye this week due to an odd number of players, so if you joined you would cause a bye for next week as well as only getting to play once.

That is true. As long as you have RTS downloaded, you can play with Redemption Connect, it's completely online-based, so there are no firewall/security issues that I'm aware of (other than the usual threats you're faced with by being online).
