I feel bad, but I think I'm gonna drop out of this month's tournament. I'm really busy right now, and it's a srtuggle to find open slots for 2-3 games. I'll stick to pick-up games for now. Weston.

We'll miss you.  Regrettably, this fits with the idea that the time commitment for a best of 3 series is prohibitive for some people.  I suspect that this would also be true of live tournaments.

Meanwhile, Alex_O and I played tonight.  I think the scores were 5-3, 1-5, 5-2 in my favor, but I'm sure Alex will clear it up if I'm off slightly on that.

They were interesting games, and Alex played great in all 3 of them.  We did kinda showcase the power of sideboards as he made adjustments in the 2nd game that helped him to win that one.  Then I made adjustments in the 3rd game that helped me to win that one.  It made for an interesting addition to the strategy of the game.

We played 3 games.

Game 1:  5-4 jbeers285

Game 3:  5-3 me

There was definitely some serious strategy going on in all of our games.

Weird dynamic between the two. Sideboard definitely helped me second game, and first game had a brutal start, so I was grateful for the 2/3.
