Does it have most of the cards from the most recent two sets? I'd make a bid of $250 either way.

Current bid at 300$ which is about the TLG “value” of the cards I won only at 2019 nats this year ...

Current bid is at $300.00

Not looking too promising considering this is all the cards in the game with special winner promos and just the next set is asking $400.00 new 😂

Are those winner promos the difference between this entire collection only being worth 300$ or 700$?

Either way seems tlg should re-evaluate card values to give owners a more accurate idea of what their collections are worth ..

By tlg values this collection is worth well over 3000$ been offered 300$ FYI anyone looking to sell theirs or buy

I think it is just the sheer price all at once. I’m not sure how many people really have that much just ‘lying around’ that isn’t for something immediately necessary.

I agree that retailers should maybe re-evaluate the worth of some cards, though to be honest I'm surprised none of them have put in an offer for this, unless that is the $300?

As for players not paying more, I assume most that can drop $300+ on cards probably already have most of what you are selling, and with the new set being released soon would rather buy cards they do not have.

So even though it is good 'value' to get all the previous sets it may be too much of a financial commitment to buy such a large bundle of cards.  I'm guessing you would have more luck splitting this up, but that would certainly take a lot more time and effort.
Life is what you make of it.

I can’t speak for other retailers (from what I understand Ken with TLG is no longer purchasing collections) but from my perspective there are some factors at play here:

1. LoC is coming up and any new set is where the bulk of retailer money goes (especially with the price per pack of this set), so I’m saving up for that
2. The player base is still small, and there aren’t that many new players replacing them, so that doesn’t create much demand for the cards (since most players already have what they need). And less demand means less income for us retailers, and less demand and income means less purchasing of collections
3. I’d be interested in purchasing this specific collection but all that’s posted is a collection which has “everything.” I’d need to know if there are multiples of cards and which cards those are. Also, I know Josiah just sold a bunch of high end ultra rares and promos, so did he have more of those which are being sold now with the other cards in the respective sets? Are all of these cards in near mint to mint condition? The more info the better.
4. I just bought Andy’s collection (again) and got an amazing deal.
5. YTG does purchase collections but the price for the seller and I has to be right and depends on what is being sold. And for a bulk collection the money given for it by me is much lower to the owner than if the owner parted out the collection to the general public as I will offer bulk pricing, which is a low percentage for the collector
6. I try and save money for other things, such as advertisement-related items, special projects (tshirts, playmats, etc), general business expenses, etc. and can’t always put money back into cards.

As for retailers re-evaluating the worth of some cards, that’s what I’ve done with YTG. Some cards are much less and as they are low in demand or not being played much (regardless of my supply), while others are a little higher based upon supply and demand and deck staples. I try and keep an accurate pulse on the Redemption market and adjust card prices accordingly, some cards initially being higher but now lower based upon demand dropping off, and vice versa.

Splitting a collection up is definitely the way to get more out of selling your collection.  That's what I've been doing.  I'm around $700 in gross sales and I still have stuff left to sell, and my collection didn't have any of the winners' promos.

Also, resale value is tricky when the player base can be measured in the hundreds.  There's a lot more risk for resellers that buyers' demand will simply disappear past a certain point.

If You gave Your life to love them so will I

If I were in the market to consider bidding on this I would not bid very much because the description "everything" is very subjective and doesn't really tell me much. I recommend giving people a better idea of what's here without going into details. For example:

All complete sets Limited to ???. All promo cards released except (whatever is missing). Many valuable duplicates such as (list some of the high end cards that you have in multiple).

You certainly don't have to list everything out and it's probably easier to mention the cards that are excluded if there are any. But that will give potential buyers a much better idea so they can bid appropriately.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?

You have some great suggestions in the last few posts for how to get the most for the cards that you have. :) Derek is correct that I am not currently buying collections for Three Lions Gaming because I would only end up with a handful of cards that I would actually be able to sell in the next year.

You're also correct that values need to be reconsidered, and I've been working on it, but it's a slow process! Especially since I own and operate a Christian bookstore, teach math, tutor, and help homeschool our four kids.  ;D It takes time to inventory what I have since I bought Three Lions Gaming back in July in order to determine appropriate pricing for the cards.

I can also tell you that I would willingly sell a set of 100,000 cards for $1,000 if I got to pick which cards were in included, so quantity doesn't determine price. If you can provide some more information, you'll have a lot more people that are interested in some or all of your collection!

Pretty clearly stated there is just about every card needed to play.. if anyone wants to make offers on singles go right ahead because the winner promos alone are worth more than 300$ according to tlg

I’m at the point where I’m willing to part with the cards because I have no incentive to play anything but fun online games on my phone where I have immediate access anywhere and a giant population

Everyone I know has been run out of redemption by rules lawyering i actually know people who used to play and have no interest in trying to pick it back up where they left off which is basically the same problem I face with potential new players I’m just being dishonest acting as if the rules aren’t overly complicated even with sealed

Maybe I should just settle for 300$ to be done with it thanks guys

As a retailer, I'd be willing to sell your collection on a consignment basis.  I'd be willing to give you $700 for it as I sell the cards.  When cards sell, you receive the money.  The first $700 I raise is yours everything else is mine (and that's assuming of course there is 1 of every card that exists in the game except for a few promos.  If this information is being misrepresented than I cannot guarantee the $700.  I will pay for you to ship it to me.  Please let me know if you'd like the $700 as I sell this collection for you.  All you would need to do is sit back enjoy your other games, and wait for it to sell.  Please let me know if this interests you.

If there is a current high bid on the "entire collection", barring something being worked out with the current high bidder, offers shouldn't be made or taken on singles from the collection being bid on.

Everyone I know has been run out of redemption by rules lawyering i actually know people who used to play and have no interest in trying to pick it back up where they left off which is basically the same problem I face with potential new players I’m just being dishonest acting as if the rules aren’t overly complicated even with sealed

This seems indicative of something other than Redemption being the issue. We don't always know why players leave and don't come back and why others leave and comeback. Some players are gone for years and comeback. I was gone for 5 years and came back. TEC, TPC, CoW, RoJ and FoM had all been released and PoC was being released. Things had changed and other have been gone longer and comeback. I disagree with overly complicated rules even with Sealed. I have had the honor and privilege of introducing several new players in the past 2 months to Redemption with Starter Decks. (G&H and I&J) They loved it. A new player here has purchased the Flood-type Contender deck from YTG. He cross referenced it against your Nats deck and made additional purchases to get it as close to what you had built on his first go around. All this before EVER playing a single game of Redemption. His first game was today in a Local Sealed deck tournament. He is more excited now then before. I give credit where credit is due, JD. You have had an impact on Redemption. I have learned much from our online games and appreciate being taken to school.... every time.

I’m at the point where I’m willing to part with the cards because I have no incentive to play anything but fun online games on my phone where I have immediate access anywhere and a giant population

This is the most telling for me. I can see where Redemption may not fit in for you, but this does not take away what you have brought to Redemption in pushing the limits of what can or cannot be done. (CoL anyone?  :o )

This thread is something else :o

OP all you have to do is post a picture or give some sort of list... no even an entire list of the whole collection and you'll get a half-decent offer. Shoot... post of a picture of at least the winner promos. Something!

Currently, you're trying to sell a car without telling someone what the model of the car is, what the millage is and if it even comes with any tires or a radio.
3 Prophets Packs ftw
