With info listed on trumpet blast, I'm thinking the upcoming set will re-enforce the OT side of things. Thoughts?

Some major and minor prophet reprints would be cool. Especially with the printing of The Watchman.

Given that we know:
1. It's a 2.0
2. It's OT
3. It's not Prophets

It has to be Kings, Patriarchs, and Priests. Kings 2.0 isn't happening until Throne is banned or set rotation becomes a thing, so unfortunately never.

I'm still holding out for Priests getting buffed in the form of new starter decks rather than just Priests 2.0 so that leaves Patriarchs.

I can't imagine them printing Prophets 2.0 without a green Elijah and Elisha and those have been explicitly stated to not be in the new set, along with a couple other Prophet related card ideas being told they aren't on theme with the new set.

I'm not sure I'd describe the next release as as 2.0 of anything that's been done before. I guess in some ways RoJ was AW 2.0, but not really. The next release is less of a 2.0 than that. Although there are always some reprints, the bulk of them don't come from any specific expansion.

- and to get the prints of Issacher and Dinah cards (like it says on the Leah texp card)

If I had to take a stab at a guess I would say it would be a set around the pentateuch. It would allow for a variety of themes to get support and be similar to how RoJ was by books by John where the pentateuch would be the 5 books written or at least attributed to Moses. The only thing I wouldn't like about that is I'd like to see more thematic help for Major and Minor Prophets which wouldn't fit my guess.

However, I am most likely wrong on all accounts and we're going to get something completely different that's a Mixed group of stuff we want or didn't realize we wanted until we see the new stuff spoiled.

Unless the players are borrowing against their investment portfolios and using that money to speculate on the new set, I think everything will be ok

So hopefully it will strengthen the OT part - above all regarding defense. Egyptians would be nice or some cool black staff.
For NT defense, enforcing the greek theme or another neglegted (sub)themes would be great.

Regarding offense I am very open minded - but clay IMHO already got enough stuff during all the past sets! Enforcing the Ruth/Boaz theme with it amazing recursion possibilities would be really fun!

Anyway RoJ was the greatest set so far for me! I really like it!

I think that sounds about right the next set will mostly have O.T cards in it.

As for the neglected sub themes , I would very much like to see more brown Persian evil characters printed as the theme has not really gotten anymore Persian EC ever since the tin sets.

We have gotten the dual enhancement white/brown card from the PC set that relates or mentions Persians but that is it.

Maybe another EC that would benefit from the old media sites from the Womens card set could be made.
