Yes. Since no one will be losing cards (unless they actually wanted to shuffle their whole hand with more than 6 cards), the turn 1 restriction is now unnecessary.

Just wanted to take some time to say thank you for everyone involved with making these things happen.

With CoL and liners at the forefront I'm glad that the mayhem + restrict draw combos weren't forgotten about. Besieging the city in particular is such a good card on it's own that I found myself sticking in a copy or 2 of it in my T2 decks as long as I had some character that could use it. The upside of pulling off the combo was just too hard to ignore not using two very good cards that work well on their own. I'm so glad that I can still use these cards by themselves in an effective manner and that the NPE involved with the interactions has been solved.

Couldn't be happier.

Liners are the only cards I've really ever wanted banned.  Happy day.  Thank you elders!

If that's all it took to get you back on the forum, it was well worth it 

Do the elders have something to replace the liners? Cause when cards are banned, sometimes there's a better or new card in the works that can do a better job and not cause the headaches the 2LS card caused.

Maybe one of the legacy cards will be replacing the liners?

The blue packs have been out of print for some time. A couple years ago TLG bought what was left of the stock at Cactus. In the process of deciding how to proceed Travis was probably the biggest advocate for the ban. As the person with the most to lose that should tell us something.

I agree with Ironisaac. This is a sad day. 

Someone should also let all the resellers know that the blue packs are completely worthless now, since the highest value card from that set is now gone. Not even a Storefront Display Case will give them any value anymore.

Blue packs were already basically worthless, save for Boosting with.  Which, by the way, is a great use for them    

Should've just given it this errata:

"This card counts as one Lost Soul. It must be rescued once by the same player to count."

It's everything I wanted and more...



No more DoU reset/Burial/ANB shenanigans! No more Mayhem/Hypocrisy/Besieging atrocities! Of course that means the liner we just traded for some months ago is now worthless, but I'll gladly eat the loss to bury it for well and good.

Though there's no more fear of resetting Liner with ANB, still have to worry about Flood Survivors resetting the game after I manage to successfully block them. But there may be time to fix that yet...
