Just checking that 2011-2012 will not have new tournament promos. Am I right in this assertion?

The rumor I've heard is that they release new ones every other year. But heck, given the amount I'm wrong on here, that's practically an assertion that there will be new cards.

They release a new local promo every year I know that for a fact.

I wasn't thinking there would be new promos, because for the last couple of years the cards have been printed on sheets of 60, which leaves no room for anything but the new set, unless either the sheet size has changed or more than one type of sheet will be printed this year, one with promos on it.

Precisely, do we have any FACTS to argue against this thinking? Not speculation based on the way things have been in the past but may be changed for the future?

How about they could easily be printed on separate sheets. In fact that would seem like the smart thing to do anyways. I don't see why you would want to print promos on the same sheets as set cards, you'd have to go through and sort them out afterwards. That just doesn't make any sense to me at all

It's probably cheaper to print all 60 cards on one sheet for 60 sheets then to print one sheet of each card.

promos have been printed in the past on sheets with set cards. sorting might be tedious, but is done in robs basement a la child slavery.

There will be no new promo's this year.

The Disciples print run was 2- 60 card sheets, 115 cards for the set, and 5 promo's.

Whatever the local promo was....

This year we are printing 1-60 card sheet, and putting together 6 tins of 10 cards, leaving no room for promo's. I don't know if Rob/Byron plans on printing promos next year or not.

I heard that as well & that the new picture was of Gabe's birth certificate.
