Rob gave the word today that the Lackey update can be released the week of May 23rd (the same week the physical cards are expected to ship) if the coding is ready.

I can't wait to get my hands on one! The level of strategy this card adds to dominant play is amazing! It's no longer about waiting to draw SoG/NJ.

I'm a little worried for the Second Coming
It's awesome, too powerful and has great artwork! Stellar work.
I'm just worried that like shipwrecked this card will be close to unattainable for younger players with little to no budget. The only people that will have this will be the play testers and other redemption players with a lot of time and money for the game.
I don't know what everyone else thinks, this card is just sweet though.
I'm just a little worried about the demand and price.

The good news is that new Jerusalem is still very playable (and indeed has real advantages over second coming), so those unable to obtain a second coming can still play that.

Isn't this generally true in life? People with money get things that the rest of us don't? Don't get me wrong, I really want Second Coming, too, but I would also like a Porsche, a bigger house, a cruise vacation, and a maid/butler.

GoyS and DoN used to be very difficult to obtain (without paying top dollar from 3 Lions) when they first released. Eventually the supply of Shipwreck and TSC will catch up and the prices will come down. Chase cards like Shipwreck and Second Coming are good for the business side to keep Redemption going, but because they are not absolutely needed they don't unbalance the game between players who can acquire them and those who cannot. (If cards like Angel of the Lord, Christian Martyr and Son of God were as rare as Shipwreck and Second Coming, that would be bad for the game).

Guardian and DoN were difficult to get until all of the repacking of old rares into sets started. After that pretty much all the old rares (that were re-packed) were everywhere and worth nothing.

Even before that happened, the dom cap caused a drop in GoyS being used and Destructions were fairly easy to acquire for around $10, which is fairly reasonable for a card that strong that was an UR. The repacking dropped it even further obviously but there was a good supply of them after a couple years.
