Good article, when using the old Falling Away, in my mind it was more of 'that person was never truly saved,' but when calling the land of redemption Heaven... then I completely see the controversy behind it.

One of my favorite Falling Away “blocks” came during a time when part of the special ability on the dual-affiliation Joab said “protect David from harm”. When my opponent rescued with Joab, I converted my David and blocked with him.

I know it's kind of a moot point since Joab no longer does this, but wouldn't Joab have protected David from Falling Away?
