Calling all Type 2 players within 15 hours driving distance of MN or willing to fly in. Best tune up for Nationals. Its a must if you want to win Nationals. Every year the highest place winner at the Type 2 Blowout that plays at Nationals has won that year.

Details for Type 2 Only Redemption Tournament March 9-10, 2012

Location: North Heights Lutheran Church
Arden Hills-Upper Centrum or Great Hall
1700 W. Highway 96
Arden Hills, MN 55112

Lodging: Stay overnight in the church on Friday night, doors open at at 6:00pm. Saturday night loging available in homes.

Money available to help with traveling expences for anyone traveling from outside the great state of Minnesota. Last year we had 2 people fly in.

Cost: Free
Pizza, pop, etc will be available for purchase.

Tentative schedule:
Friday: 7:00 Type 2-Multiplayer (2-3 rounds depends on numbers and how late everybody wants to play),
Iron man
Other games
Type 2 Teams after Multi is over. Matt will determine rules

8:00-8:30 Breakfast for those staying overnight
8:30-9:00 Registration and deck check in
9:00-7:00 Type 2-2 player (7 rounds because we want to. Since we have all these good players attending)

We will be having an Ironman Tournament ongoing both Friday and Saturday. Winner will receive prizes.

Besides normal prizes for a local tournament; 1, 2 & 3rd place winners of Type 2-2 player and Type-2 Multiplayer will get a chance to win a complete set of new cards. 1st place in each category will get three chances, 2nd place two chances and 3rd place one chance. So if you won Type 2-2 player and placed 3rd in Type- Multiplayer, you would have a 4 in 12 chance to win the new cards. Might throw in a Daniel Promo, depends if I can go to Nationals this year. Also Championship t-shirts for the winners.

hmm count me interested if someone from NE is driving out, if I could get a ride its possible, but not entirely probable, that I could attend.

Glad for all the intrest from the NE. Two years ago Brad flew in and last year Alex joined us. The Canadians and Georgia boys have been threatening to join us and I know we will have some Wisconsinits for the first time ever. Could be the biggest yet.

I brought all the mattresses up last year and am not doing that again! And I should be there.

Yeah, how much gas would be would depend on how many people we have and what Wild Bill is willing to donate. I estimate somewhere in the range of $50 per person.

well i have a personal offer of 165 from him based on the cost if i had to do amtrak straight from here so id be willing to use part of those funds to reach you then contribute the rest between gas and food etc

just to be clear to everyone im simply trying to use bills generousity towards me and share the wealth to support a group trip from my state that might be a cheaper way for me to attend im not trying to be or do anything other then help my local friends

It's about time you come to a tournament this year. Their are game nights in January and February if you need cards or if you want to practice before the tournament.
