Considering the new cards aren't out yet, I feel like this tournament season would be a repeat of last year's (which wouldn't be all bad ;)). In that regard, the only tourneys I'd probably attend would be state or higher, so as long as you let me know when state would be for sure, I would be able to go, provided I have enough time to get off work.

Cheers,
Mr. (Now-Married) Kirk Dennison.

You know, it seems like just yesterday that I heard you were engaged, but that was quite a few months ago already! :o Time sure flies! (Pardon the cliché)
Congrats again on your success! ;D
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

Congratz on getting hitched!

I would love to attend tournaments, however I am unable at this time to determine which weekends I will be available as I'm still in training for my new job and my actual work schedule has yet to be made (so I don't know if I'm working any weekends, or none, or all, lol). I will update as I get more information.

I would love to be apart of any new tournaments! I'll check my schedule and get back to you on that. But I'll try to keep ya posted. I'm currently not playing that much since nothing new has really happened with the game either...

I may also hold another tournament or two sometime as well...
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

See first post for an update. Please let me know if you plan to attend any or all and what category preferences you have.

If WI State is 6/22, there's a good chance I could come. I would definitely hope for T2 MP to be available.  8)

Unfortunately I will not be available that weekend; either of the two previous weekends would be great, since my wife will be in Ecuador, but since she is coming back on the 22nd, I should probably pick her up at the airport rather than road trip to Madison...unless I can convince her to fly back to Madison and hang out with the lovely Mrs. Dennison (who we greatly enjoyed hosting over the weekend btw).

Thanks for weighing in MN crew. At this point I will plan to keep state on 6/22 as that worked best for the game shop.

Justin, I would be glad to include T2 multi provided we have another player or two express interest.

Jordan, you could pitch that to your wife, but I would understand if that doesn't work out.

David, maybe you could catch a ride with Justin?

If I am able to come, I will be sure to check with others who would be interested in coming (Bill, Nathan, Matt, Josh, Jayden) or perhaps I will only give them a ride if they agree to play T2 MP.  :P

The dates look alright to me; I might try to make the district if you have booster as a category. 8)

I will talk to Cheryl about going, but for categories my preferences are booster, then sealed, then T1-2P. Dates are fine with me. :)

If you guys are going to end up going would it be possible to arrange carpool?

EDIT: Just remembered you don't really have room in your car anymore.

Wish I could go but sadly I'll just be coming back from Florida that day and probably will not be able to go...

Yeah, sorry about that.  :P We're not really conveniently located for getting you to Madison, either. Maybe James could give you a ride since he's in the Milwaukee area...

Did you say Florida? We have tournaments here, too!  ;D
Well, as a part of Boy Scouts I'm actually going to SeaBase which is more of camping than a vacation so sadly I won't be available there either.

I have updated my initial post to reflect tentative schedules. The main catch is that the game store's hours are 9 am to 7 pm - hence the later start time and the earlier ends times.

I am awaiting final confirmation that I can host there otherwise I will be able to start sooner at Union South (and it will be a little cheaper) but parking is harder.

Thoughts?

Any idea what the costs will be for playing if it's at the game store? Thanks for posting schedules!

I am not sure yet. The store owner asked about the tournament application costs (which I disclosed) and mentioned that she would expect to make a little bit for their while. Hopefully I will find out early this next week.

Actually, as it happens I'm going in July (which is "7" not "6", silly me...), which means I might be able to come if I can get a ride.

David, do you mean State?

That would be sweet Jayden. It sounds like Justin may be able to give you a ride, as long as you commit to play T2 multi.  ;)

Good idea - I found out people can sleep at the floor at the church office. Everyone should vote: what events should I put on Fri night for State?
