Author Topic: What happened to my smileys??? (Read 5700 times)

I woke up this morning and got on the computer and all of a sudden none of the smileys, and only some of the player avatars, are appearing on my screen. It's like my computer won't show .gif images for some reason. Anyone know what the problem is?

I can't see them either...they are all disappearing into that picture of a paper with a red triangle, blue square, and green circle (the image error symbol). What is going on with the boards??

I doubt that everyone's computer suddenly developed the exact same problem at the exact same time.

I think the problem lies with SMF. Something changed, and now it's unable to process .gif images.

Scrap the following. Now selected images are broken on Firefox also...

Smiley's broken: Grin, Angry, Sad, Shocked, Cool, Huh, Tongue, Lips Sealed, Undecided, Kiss, Cry, police, sleepy, and angel.

Images work fine in Firefox.

Images broken in IE.

Error reported...

   A Runtime Error has occurred.
   Do you wish to Debug?

   Line: 13
   Error: 'is_ie5up' is undefined.

The error may be unrelated, but folks should be able to quickly verify my first two statements. This should help with the debugging.
