If you were allowed to play upto 5 copies of this soul in T1-2p would you? How many would you play? Why?

(This is not happening or even being discussed by leadership, it is entirely my own question.)

I guess this is another way of asking, "How many cards do you need in your deck to win?"

While it would depend on a particular strategy, I would think playing 5 Hoppers would typically be good as it would speed up your deck by 5 cards and thus make it much more consistent

Running 5 hoppers would be strange, I'd think. It'd take up five deck slots, but then I would get through my deck quicker and soul drought would be less of a possibility.

In a deck of 50 cards I use 0 since space is so tight.

HOWEVER, if we could use 5 I would throw 5 of these, another LS and another Dominant to said 50 card deck to get that extra Dominant.
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

I’m prettying sure that I’d build a 50 card deck that uses 5 effectively. That’s not to say I’d use 5 in every deck though.

If Ends of the Earth didn't exist I would happily run all 5. Since that's not the world we live in, it likely wouldn't change most of my normal decks as they would still run 0.

I'm with Gabe, I think I could construct a really good deck that runs 5, but wouldn't necessarily be the absolute right choice of deck to run. I think there's plenty of counters to things like Ends and Moses

I guess Ends of the Earth and Lawless really don't worry me. If you are revealing my deck your speeding me up with an enhancement or evil card. I don't think drought is a defense anymore. Even a deck constructed around droughting isn't going to work anymore.

A deck played at 50 with 5 hoppers effectively only has 38 slots verses the standard 42/43, cut your 7 Dom's from that number and your at 31 deck slots. I simply find that very enticing. The reserve can bolster your lack of power.  The set up consistency would dramaticly increase in many themes.

Obligatory necropost to point out how awesome #Mayhem would be in a deck that runs 5 Hoppers
