RR is working on evil gold.

Since I've started with two cards.... I'll handle Grey brigade.

Also, we should first focus on copying everything that is in the REG, (card descriptions and rules) into here first, and then go and add more such as common deck styles, combos, gameplay tips, specific tips on each card page, etc. But, I would like to see the basic information and page links set up first.

Sorry for the double post...

To get things going even faster, pre-plan what cards you will work on. Try the following to help organize yourself:

1) Open Notepad and copy the following text into it, and save that file (name doesnt matter, just save it so you have the template on hand)

2) Depending on how many cards you plan on working on, make a few copies of this template in your notepad document. Fill in all the information you need, and type in any categories you want for the card. Example: [[Category:Good Character]]

3) Go into the REG, download all the image files you need for the cards into a folder on your desktop, and upload them.

4) Make a new page, switch to source mode, and copy the first half of the card information into the area and update the image link to the respective image. Next, go to the Categories part, switch to code view, and simply paste the whole list of categories into the area. Click on visual view and all the categories will be added.

Planning ahead and working on several cards at a time should speed this up signifigantly.

Hey guys, if you can't find some information for a card, such as if they are not in the REG due to having no special ability, please put an INCOMPLETE category on it, and it will show up here: http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Category:INCOMPLETE

If anyone has the information that is missing, please go in and fill it in.

To help keep all categories organized, try and use the following list:

Card type: (Hero, Evil Character, Good Enhancement, Evil Enhancement, Dominant, Artifact, Covenant, Curse, Fortress, Site, Lost Soul)

Brigade: (Red Brigade, Blue Brigade, Silver Brigade, Gold Brigade, Teal Brigade, Purple Brigade, Green Brigade, Brown Brigade, Pale Green Brigade, Evil Gold Brigade, Orange Brigade, Crimson Brigade, Black Brigade, Grey Brigade, Good Multicolor, Evil Multicolor) use the last two for doms and forts as well. Arts can be listed as None.

Type of character: (Human, Demon, Beast, Angel)

Testament: (Old Testament, New Testament)

Reference: (not going to list them all, but use like, "Luke Reference" instead of "Luke 1:1 Reference")

Set it was released in: (Unlimited, Prophets, Women, Warriors, Apostles, Patriarchs, Kings, Angel Wars, Priests, Faith of Our Fathers, Thesaurus ex Preteritus, Rock of Ages, Promotional Cards)

Warrior/Weapon Class or Territory Class if Appropriate.

Male, Female, or Genderless on characters.

Rarity (or tin it came in)

Unique or Generic.

And finally, list every other identifier listed in the REG for that card.

I am currently working on a single page with EVERY category we will need. When it is finished, I will post it here for you all to use as a reference. I'm primarly doing this because if you so much as forget to use a capital letter, it will treat it as a new category. So, this is to simplify the entire process.

Seems like the category should be "Roman."

Some of them are inconsistent. You have "Rome," but then "Babylonian." Also you have a category of "Chief Priests." Shouldn't it just be chief priest?

If I forgot any, please just let me know and I will add them. Please refrain from editing this list, as I would like to keep it as small and concise as possible.

When you all make card pages, please use the categories in this list. Unless you are using a random identifier that only like, two cards use that I happened to forget, all categories in your card pages should show up orange instead of red.

Please note the use of capitals in the categories, as forgetting them will result in a broken link.

I hope this list makes the process much easier for everyone.

I will leave it up even when the Wiki is finished, as it is nice to see every identifier in one place.

That list thing is the template. Its just an easier way to add the text in, since you dont have to hunt for the little text boxes.

Also, ignore the part about the categories now. Add them the easy way now, as the system recognizes them all and gives you a dropdown list as you type.

Also, Please avoid giving cards a "Special Ability" category. Only do this for No Special Ability, so we have a list to use for Windows of Narrow Light. It will be assumed that anything not on the No SA list has a special ability.

Yes, when you make a new card, switch to "View Source" mode (rightmost button above the text area), then paste the following to create a cardbox:

Leave the titles alone, and fill in the blank sections with the appropriate info, and try to type out the entire scripture passage if you can. Any other text you wish to add can go right underneith that textbox information.

Also, What I have been doing regarding Erratas and Play-As's is this: I put the ORIGINAL ability in the card box, then write the change right below. See this for an example: http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Elymas_%28Bar-Jesus%29_the_Sorcerer

Also, When a card has multiple prints, make a card box for each one. See this for an example: http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Ahithophel
Adding on to this, when a card has been reprinted in different brigades, keep them in the SAME page, but give each its own card box, and combine the respective identifiers in the categories. So for example, a card may be listed as both Orange and Yellow in the categories to show both versions. Do this for dual color cards as well.

Finally, as I said before, If you cannot complete the card yourself, just slap an INCOMPLETE category on it.

Also, for the time being... we should focus on simply getting all of the cards and their respective categories into the Wiki before we discuss the card abilities and how to use them.

Two thoughts:
- If a card has no brigade or stats (ie, a lost soul), how about we simply remove those rows?
- For play-as, you could put it in a row just below the ability, or make it the very last row. If it's not needed, it can just be deleted. (If you put it below the infobox, it ends up in the main article.)

oh and for the references what about cards like Ahithophel that band to evil characters with reference from II Samuel 14-17? if you just have II samuel as the reference on a card how will you know? I think we shoud do reference like "luke reference" but then have the exact scripture as a category too(also for cards like david so you know if his name is in the scripture or not)
