Other Christian Game Publishers

I've been considering creating a board game based on the rebuilding of the temple, as found in Ezra and Nehemiah. I was thinking of proposing it to Cactus when it was in a ready state, but I looked at their Inventors page and saw that they're not accepting outside submissions. The page does include a list of some other Christian publishers, but I'm not familiar with any of them, and a cursory glance at their websites makes it seem like most of them don't even publish games! Talicor seems like the only one on the list worth approaching, and they don't say one way or the other on their site if they accept outside submissions.

Does anyone know of any reputable, quality Christian game publishers besides Cactus?

Why not do a kickstarter thing and just become your own publisher?

Also, you've gotten other games published before, could you go back to one of those companies and pitch the idea?

Rpgdirector would be a great person to talk to about this.

Because then getting the physical components, acquiring game illustrations/art, worrying about shipping, logistics, pricing, and uncountably many other considerations that publishers are well-equipped to deal with suddenly become my problem. Publishers generally have developers that will work to improve the game more, offering a different viewpoint than my own when playtesters may be complacent. Publishers have distributors who can get games into stores; I do not. I am not a businessman nor am I a marketer. I don't have the up-front capital to put into the project.

In short, I want to do the fun part. :)

I could. I definitely can go to a more "mainstream" publisher and hope for one of them, but I imagine that a Christian company would be more receptive to a Biblical game than a secular one. It wouldn't be the first such game out there (for instance, Kingdom of Solomon or Ark of the Covenant (which actually was printed by a "religious" subdivision of a secular game company)), but it would be a tougher sell, and I have a pretty high rejection rate as is.

I'm not too familiar with him; what's his experience?
