I'm not going to lie, that's a truly, truly horrible deck. Must have been the player that drove it to 2nd place.  ::)

In case it wasn't clear, this is a terrible booster deck and Blake should be banned for building it. He's a terrible drafter obviously.

What Blake isn't communicating is the fact that he repeated (throughout his games) how bad his deck. People assumed he wasnt a threat and handed over 3 free souls to him and blocked each other with there normal/tiny booster defenses.  Once  they played themselves out of defense Blake made some nice plays to get 4 and 5 on whoever seemed to be the most depleted opponents.

I believe piloting combined with some head games resulted in Blake being able to achieve the necessary plays to make the best an of an awful booster draft.

Congrats Blake on executing with such a pitful booster deck.

Also congrats to (little) Alex on pulling off a first place finish in booster

Agreed on all counts that was an awesome rescue. Also agreed booster is more legit then t1-Multi lol

Thats actually a pretty decent deck.... You guys should play some drafts out here in California we are pretty sure Rob sends us rigged tins/packs because we would be lucky to get that many characters split between four of us in a draft!

To be fair, Alex saw my deck and also announced to the people at my table that there was no way it was going to win.

EDIT: Also, the first game I won because one of the 3 people at the table got 4 souls in the first 4 rounds, and the other person couldn't stop him, so he had to keep giving me souls.  Then I hungered the player who was winning, and played A look back to hit the last useful character he had.  I got the fourth soul off a Second Seal/protection of angels rescue, then walked past a guy who had no defense left for the fifth.

The second game I won, I was very open that the only reason I won my first game was because people gave me free souls, then I won one rescue.  The other players letting me do the exact same thing again is their fault (though I did win 2 battles)

This is the only reason I placed in type I 2 player.  Alex deserved it much more than me.
