The list in Matthew starts with Abraham and you don't think we have blue for Genesis?

Also, the Zadok in Matthew is not the priest Zadok - none of them are priests, IIRC.

Aggie is correct as usual. The line of Jesus comes through Judah. Priests come through Levi.

It sure has been fun watching you folks work out which 5 good and evil you think we’ll see and why. One of the things I love about Redemption is that it’s also a learning tool. Who knew there weren’t any priests in Christ’s lineage before today? I imagine most people didn’t know that.

I’m looking forward to all the cool things we’ll learn from LoC!

I like how this set will help build upon the starter decks or even allow someone to create a simple starter deck with the "meek" sides.  And then introduce different elements by allowing certain cards to be played with SAs.

We have a HUGE devotion/spoiler (10 cards :o or is it 20? ::)) by CrashFach scheduled for Monday, November 18th on Land of Redemption. I definitely learned something new from this one, about the importance of the lineage and how intricately God was revealing his plan of Redemption through these people looooooong before it came to culmination through Jesus!

I think this will blow your mind!  :miss:

I realized last night that I forgot about teal when I was thinking of brigades yesterday.  The human line of Jesus is not priestly at all, the closest to that is Melchizedek and depending on who you ask Mel is Jesus.  That said, the priests played a crucial role so I don't think its out of the realm of possibility that teal would be one of the 5 good brigades.  We've already seen cloud in this set and the whole "priest forever" section of Hebrews could very easily lead to a logical inclusion of teal for LoC.
May you prosper greatly!

I preached a lengthy series on this once. Some amazing and wonderful details!  I am super excited for this set...It seems to be a great jumping on point for newer players, and has enough intricacy for experienced players.

Interesting...remaking those already.  Okay just realized the SAs are a bit different and more refined. Nice!!  And I love the article. I first studied that myself back in 2003. :)

Interesting article. Thanks for the insight!

Question about one of the cards:

Spoiler (hover to show)

This card seems amazing!  But not sure entirely the timing of how it works.  Like if you play a 'd3 play next' and then a battle winner on the play next can you still copy the 'd3 play next'?  Or if you just play a battle winner I assume your opponent gains special initiative before you can copy?  And if your opponent plays during special initiative can you still copy your enhancement later?
Life is what you make of it.

The copy ability is a trigger that has to wait for all other abilities to complete. In your examples the first GE (D3 play next) and the battle winner and special initiative all have to complete before the copy trigger can complete.

At which point you could copy any of the cards you played?  Or just the last one?  And does the hero who played the enhancement still have to be in battle?

That's a lot of spoilers all at once and a really good sermon.

I really like all of the cards.  Artwork isn't spectacular but is still nice.

Is Seth a limit a limit once per game or once per round?

His “limit once” means you can use it once while he is in play. If he were to bounce back to your hand or be reset in any other way, you can use him again.

If I may ask, why was Red chosen as the color for "Meek" heroes? Is there a meaning that I missed somewhere?

Red is for the blood of Jesus.  I think this was started with PoC.
