yes, check bungie.net. sometime after the 16th (the 16th was the official update date, but it got postponed a little bit). all experience will be reset, you will only retain your number level. everyone will again start off as a recruit. however, all playlists will have their seperate experience tracker, and you can actually get a level 50 in experience alone, not by just winning games. so this time around, it will be a bit easier to get that 50
