The main idea of this deck is to make your oponent draw souls FAST. it would be used in conjunction with another similary built deck. There were a couple fortresses i had to take out for the other deck to use. Such as storehouse. You want to win in about 3 turns with this deck, but it could go slow if you have a horrible draw. If you want to win in 3 turns why have gathering in ur deck? In all reality it takes about 6 turns to pull off gathering. unless you get the enhance and the characters you want first turn.

yeah i thought about that after i posted it lol. it is kind of back up, but i may take it out just to take up less space.
the idea was to gather attending to et and then i can search and destroy lol.

Speed demon is definitely the wrong word... maybe just offense heavy. The offense does work... but it's not all that fast, imo.

Although I must say, I'd love to make an all defense deck and work with this.

its not fast enough. get all of the drawing cards, hur, gifts (if you start playing with gifts and drawing in teams things get crazy

and probably some guys who can draw...plus it should be 50 not 55

yeah i was thinking about hur, problem is i would have to incorporate some green battle winners, which would in tern make it even harder to win fast, though hur would give me some extreme speed...

yeah i know.. but it is sometimes hard having the right cards.. i played prof with this deck and lost miserably (it wouldve been 5-2) it didnt draw things fast enough...

yes. and in teams win in 2 turns. lol. what should i take out then? my z temple stuff? thats just for if the going gets tough.

I concur that any fine tuned speed deck should be 50 cards, no more. There are very few exceptions to that.

If you take out:

Commissioned
Gomer
King Zimri
all 3 Crimson Enhancements
Emperor Claudius

You'll have room to add King of Tyrus and still be at 50 cards.

No, you cannot have 2 PotW. Caleb must have overlooked the (crimson???) PotW that's already on your decklist. I'd use the orange one if you also add the orange KoT for the reason Caleb already stated.

That was the one and only time I've ever played teams so I'm no expert on the format. I can tell you what we did but I'm not sure that's really the best plan, it just happened to work for us that day.

I played a speed deck with tons of offense and banding chains, similar to your deck. I also had all the dominants. We loaded Kevin's deck with defense, I am Creator and a few guys that could borrow my banding chains. Kevin had no Dominants since (in theory) I would draw them all first. That kept us from having useless cards in either of our decks.

My best advice is to get an awesome partner like, Kevin Shride. Having a great partner in teams will carry you a long way.

I agree with Gabe.

I got second... and we lost to Gabe. I can vouch for the fact that all offense and all defense is a good strategy. Gabe was stalled a few turns... but of course a deck of all offense won against our balanced decks pretty quickly. And Kevin could have bought him all day with that defense.

still... if you have two decks that have the right cards, you can win in 3 turns. my deck will draw very quickly if set up right, and it will produce 3 souls per deck.

I still disagree. I doubt your deck could get past my 56 card all defense deck I made. I'm not saying this to be arrogant... but I think that an all defense deck can beat an all offense deck... especially since evil got the main boost in Thesaurus.
