Royalty/Assyrian Self-Capture

I'll bet if you did a search you could find a thread with an identical title made by myself. However, I am really quite fond of this combination, and since TxP came out I have made a new version of this deck which I think I really like. It's full of nice combos which make it seem like these two themes were made for each other. See what you think...

56 cards...

John
Kind David
King Lemuel
King Solomon
King's Daughter
Melchizedek
Pharaoh's Daughter
  Asa's Good Reign
  AoCP
  Reach
  Royal Parade
  Testing Solomon's Wisdom
  Unified Kingdom

Ittai
__________

Assyrian Archer
King Asnapper
King Jehoiakin
King Sargon II
King Tiglath-Pileser III
The Rabsaris
The Tartan
Women as Snares
  Achan's Sin
  Captured by Assyria
  Confusion
  Death of Unrighteous
  Forgotten History
  Misuse of Talents
  2KH

The Amalekites' Slave
__________

Assyria's Tribute
Chariot of Fire
Unholy Writ

Confusion of Mind
Unknown Nation
__________

Assyrian Camp
Raiders' Camp
The Throne of David
Wall of Protection

Assyria
__________

AotL
GoW
HT
NJ
SoG

CM
DoN
Mayhem
__________

Hopper

Female
Color Guard
Shuffler
Wanderer
NT
Revealer
Anti-Burial

Some of my fave combos: The Tartan can capture Ittai and King Asnappar can capture Pharaoh's daughter. This is something I picked up from Kirk about a year ago, and it's still one of my favorite combos ever, especially since both of those heroes go so well in this deck (Ittai provides some much-needed banding to get past those pesky "Immune to lone heroes" characters and such, and Pharaoh's Daughter provides the conditions needed for King Lemming). I also Love how King Saron's captures CBN if Assyria is in play, but the site also can provide me protection from my own AoCP with the Color Guard. It's also convenient that a deck with lots of forts also has lots of fort searching just by nature (Solomon and Sargon). This deck just generally sends out a good vibe.

My favorite Self Capture combo is Idolaters capturing Aaron, then play Retreat from AW.  Are there any retreats in PG?  I think this would work well in T2.

I've always thought about making adeck like this, but never went through with it. This looks like it could do pretty well if you can hold them off long enough to get a few souls.

This is only usable once or twice, but I guess it isn't a bad combo. Throw a Great Mourning in there for added sneakiness.

I think this would work well in T2.
Pretty much any kind of combo deck works better in T2.

Now that I think of it, you could make an Assyrian deck with some brown splash and then make a Green offense with Aaron, Midwives, and Ittai, and then put in Miriam and David for banding targets, and you're on your way with an alright Prophets deck. I might look into a deck like that, but I think this deck is just about as effective.
