better put wall in there or they can band to your King David and ignore half your defense

I would also take out Mel-cheesy-deck and put in King Hiram to get your forts out faster.

Im not a fan of five smooth stones either...unless you are going up against goliath  ;)

I'm really not too afraid of that. That's why I have the Pharisees in there.

I would also take out Mel-cheesy-deck and put in King Hiram to get your forts out faster.
I always use Melchizedek in royalty offenses. He has annoyed my opponent and won me souls on so many occasions. And I see a significant number of self-capture decks, so I find him invaluable. However, if it turns out that I Am Love works with Peace Treaty, then I will consider taking out Melchizedek and putting in Covenant of Palestine, I Am Love, and Book of the Covenant.

Im not a fan of five smooth stones either...unless you are going up against goliath  ;)
Five Smooth Stones is very nice in a deck with such high-number characters. It has actually won me a few battles. And it's one of the few enhancements that John can use.

Needs more Pentecost.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

And more king Hiram.  You need to get out TTOD fast, King Solomon wont be enough. If you want to keep Melk then get rid of Hormah.  It wont work against Phillies anyway.

I'm afraid of Darius' Decree in a deck without Chariot of Fire.

And more king Hiram.  You need to get out TTOD fast, King Solomon wont be enough.
My strategy relies a lot more on The Tabernacle and Lampstand than on TToD. With Reach of Desperation, Royal Parade, and Five Smooth Stones, as well as a relatively small possibility of initiative, I don't absolutely need TToD to function.

If you want to keep Melk then get rid of Hormah.  It wont work against Phillies anyway.
Hormah is overrated.
This is probably true...I felt like I should keep it in as a Land Dispute buffer, but I'm not that fond of either of my unprotected forts anyway...

Hormah is overrated.

Maybe in this deck. But if you use it right, it can be nasty. Just have Hormah, Gates of Hell, the 2-liner LS, and a bunch of dispensable human EC's, and it makes for an amazing endgame strategy (assuming your opponent has used SoG/NJ). MKC had to make 8 successful recues to end with 4 redeemed souls in a game we played.

What happens when they CM Lemuel?  With such a small offense and no CoF, it seems like that would be really tough to come back from.  Or am I missing something obvious?

Lemuel is not essential to my strategy. With SoG, NJ, and AotL, I will hopefully only have to make 2 successful rescues, and I have essentially 5 battle-winners if I am able to use Lemuel at least once. Taking CM, UN, and negaters and stuff into account, that should come to at least 2 battles won the "fair way" just about every game. At least, that's how I figure it should work on paper. Paper is a liar though...

So, do you think it would be best to bump this deck up to 56 cards and put in CoF, Pentecost, King Hiram, and some more defense?

Absolutely. 5 battle-winners=UN, UW, CM, fancy business with 2-liner and/or shuffler, FA, Burial basically if anything happens to your LotS you lose and Babylonians would have a field day with this deck also with a side-battle Great Image. No CoF=game lost right there.

Alright, I updated the deck. I couldn't bring myself to put in King Hiram, because I have never before had problems with not drawing TToD fast enough, but I think I like everything about this deck now.

You could take out Amel's Slave for False Peace to help with getting Lampstand out.

Even if I didn't already have False Peace in there, I wouldn't want to get rid of TAS. It ruins the whole give my opponent Lost Souls he doesn't want strategy.
