The biggest problem with this deck is that it isn't fast enough. If I don't get Simeon or Gabriel or Search or Seraph early on then I'm pretty much screwed. Suggestions for speeding it up would be grand, any any improvements would be most appreciated.

It needs some Captured ark so you can get rid of Tassels with lampy up.

Why all the Chorazin hating? lol

Looks like Chorazin and something else out for Hur + Gifts at the very least.

EDIT: Habakkuk out for Hur? I've never used Habby for any rescues that I can remember since I made this deck.

The easiest way I can see right now would be to splash in the teal using Aaron from Di and some other teal character (phineas and Poc seem to stick out right now) to play the three big set asides set asides, pentecost, first fruits, and feast of trumpets. I agree with other that gifts and hur is nice, especially with feast of trumpets, I would add those too. You might have to sacrifice a lot of your silver though to do that so Hur and gifts and feast of trumpets might be your best option going forward. Hope that helped.  :)

P.S. I noticed a lack of Strong Angel, is that on purpose?

I'm not opposed to replacing the silver with teal, I just originally designed the deck to use the Birth Foretold/John the Baptist combo recurable with Gabriel (Di). If teal would work better for this deck (where the goal is, basically, to win, lol) than the silver, I'm not gonna stand in the way.

As for Strong Angel, I don't really see how he would fit in this deck. He's not a prophet (unless the REG is missing that identifier) so I couldn't band to him without also including Gathering, and he would negate all the silver enhancements I could play on him during battle.

Your right that he is not a prophet but TSA is nice because he can potentially get free early souls, use provisions well, and is excellent with Striking Herod.

At this point I think adding Hur, Gifts, and Feast of Trumpets is enough of a change to try out. Anyone have any specific suggestions for things to take out for them other than Chorazin?
