Will this Clay deck idea work?

Does anyone have an outline/good ideas for a Magicians/Demons and maybe Heretics deck? I want to make a awesome defense out of The Early Church cards, and they are really god, I just don't know what other cards (not TEC, if they are needed) to use them with... can you guys help? By the way, the offence is going to be clay/angels.

Usually people are more likely to help if you put together a decklist (even if it isn't complete) to start, and then people can offer suggestions on that.
