Defense with musicians?

I've been playing a Musicians deck with a Babylonian defense. I'm not really happy with the defense. What defenses go well with musicians? I'm using the white musicians with King David and King Solomon (TxP).

(I thought about a musicians/magicians deck, just because I keep calling the musicians magicians anyway.  :D)

I don't think any particular defense goes better with Musicians than another, but if Babylonians don't work for you, then you might have trouble finding something that will...

The big problem with the Babs is that my older son plays a demon defense. Babylonians work best against humans. I can tweak the defense with some anti-demon cards (plus Deceit of Sapphira against that blankety-blank demon chain). I actually like the Bab defense in general, but it just hasn't jelled for me yet.

My younger son uses Egyptians, and I like that one, but I'm trying to keep my deck different. (Can you say, "I hope I draw Steve at Nats this year?") I use Romans with my Genesis offense, and that also works nicely.

Musicians don't seem to have a theme that correlates with a defense the way the Genesis/Romans do, as far as I can see. Maybe I just don;t have a grasp of the musician strategy yet.

All I can say is I can't wait for Nats so I can get a NT musician...

Wait...what? Why is your defense trying to counter his defense? Am I missing something?

I just realized that whole post was pointless, since it's his ANGELS (offense) I'm worried aboiut, not his demons (defense). Duh.

Babylonians, except for Head of Gold, have problems against angels. I might try the demons, although I confess I don't like playing demons much. I splash in particular ones, but I've never tried going all-out demon. I might try a hybrid magician/demon defense.

I didn't think Babs had trouble against angels...Coliseum Lions, Deceit of Sapphira, Head of Gold, Isaac Deceived, Midianite Attack, Nebuchadnezzar's Pride, and Sarah's Jealousy are all common enhancements that work well against both angels and humans. Babs also have some high number characters and Nebuchadnezzar and Nergalsharezer to get by FbtN. If you use any demons, like Winged Lion, then Demonic Deception can be awesome against Angels also. Almost Forgot that crimson has Imitating Evil as well...

That's the advice I was looking for! Thanks!

Guess I'll have to do some tweaking and post my deck for comment soon.
