So far the only defense I have for this deck is philie stand alone I was wondering if there would be something better to pair with the offense and if the offense could use any changes.

now this decklist I like. CP Killer. now if they dont have sites or an evil fortress, are you going to kill your own Outpost? I would suggest Rams Horn and Passover of Unleavened Bread (works great with PoC).

If killing CP, why not throw in an ET+AoC splash

and add purple site with protect ls. of course one could argue that Sword and Trumpet is an AoC in disguise.

and now for all you site players out there:

but what happens if PoC is out at the wrong time? maybe add silver trumpets to put hero back in hand?

I do love the interaction between opponent placing down EC's to stop PoC just to give you the opprutunity to kill them.

You could take out Three Nails for something else, but i do love it in this deck with Golgotha killers everywhere but im concerned for your defence.

7 Heros seems to small especially with so small a defence.

Stronghold is also amazing here. No Warrior's Spear or Spy for that matter? Passover would also help with Stronghold.

Thanks for the replys. I had to take out warrior's spear for grapes, and I would add more heros if the defense was smaller, and I already have Ahimaaz so I didn't think spy was necessary. If I added more heros I might throw in ET+AoCP.and I was thinking of adding Z Temple but that might be to much.

Does a defense have to be big

I mean look at the decks that won nats last two years, I know they had speed but it works fine for me.

For a deck like this, the defense needs to be bigger, IMO. Also, balanced is (supposedly) coming back. I've yet to be convinced though.

You can use sites, but it's not worth trying to lock them. Fishing Boat will kill you. I like crimson though.

With all due respect to RTSManiac, his ideas are solid but they won't work well in this type of deck most of the time (except Passover & Unleavened Bread).

I would cut these cards to make room for more useful stuff:

Stronghold in the desert
Rams Horn
Go into captivity or Unholy writ (one is nice, both are overkill since it's so easy to protect from capture)
The Silver Trumpets
Dodai the Ahohite
The Battle is the Lords
Benedictus
Torment

These should improve your deck:

Hopper LS
Priestly Crown - access for all but PoC and can be used by Uzzah when not needed
Abishai - can band to both Centurions. Ashel + Abishai + Centurion can be pretty nice
Joshua the High Priest - one of the best teal Heroes
First Fruits - Let's speed this deck up a bit
Passover & Unleavened Bread
Pentecost - Let's speed this deck up a bit
Haman's Plot - if you're using 3 brown ECs this is too good to pass up

Ok so since I last posted I said I would give you feedback so here it is. I played a total of two games (aka both my brothers

) Whos' decks can be found
Round one

Teal red and what? VS Genesis persian

I got to use the setaside enhancements and I realy like having them in there (which is how I got my Son of God)
and I didn't have a hamans plot (but if I did I still Probably won't of used it anyway cause of the ripping) so I put in CoM but I didn't get it the whole game, so after that I took it out for Rams horn (I like atleast one CbI red battle)
And I also didn't get Abishai, but Joshua the High Priest worked great.

I won that game 5-3

Round two

Teal red and what? VS judges/silver emperors

I got Asahel, The Centurion at Capernaum, Davids Triumph, and AotL to start. I rescue with The Centurion at Capernaum he blocked with the terifiying beast banded to Emperor Galba so I laid Davids Triumph and discarded Emperor Galba and then Angel of the Lorded the terifiying beast Getting a LS. Then I drew A Soldiers Prayer and Searched for Centurion's Proclamation and then rescued with Asahel, making him block with Emperor Claudius, then I laid Centurion's Proclamation with rams horn active and he converted it to silver geting me another LS. then I forgot how I got the other one and laid SoG & NJ to win 5-3.

(you can probebly tell I played my second game closer to when I typed this Because I forgot most of what happend in the first game)

Now lets find a way to band Centurion at capernaum to him and you get a free site discard every turn even if cp is out.

with gabes above suggestions might i also suggest:

Joiada, Son of Eliashib (FF) recur set asides
Zerubbabel’s Temple (FF) need to recur set asides and gives Z-Temple dudes protection
The Sabbath (Pi) makes enhancements CBN and is recurable

I would exchange PoC for Joiada, Son of Eliashib and something else for something elses for Z-Temple just to recur
