I don't usually do speed decks like this, but I wanted to try one out and I don't like using disciples, so here it goes (sorry about spelling i didn't have the cards in front of me):

Speed decks need to be 50 cards.  I've highlighted 6 to bring it down to 50.  You won't need defensive arts other than Unholy Writ.

it needs to be 50 even though that means you have a greater chance of drawing LS's?  wouldn't it be better to fill up that last 6 cards with drawing cards like gifts and reach?

The main purpose of a speed deck is to get to your dominants faster.  Yes, you have a greater chance of drawing LS's, but also a greater chance of drawing SoG/NJ.  If you're speeding through, then you'll have lots of LS's to deal with anyway.

ok i see your point, like i said i dont usually do speed decks.  jmhartz highlighted 7 cards to take out though, so what would be a good card to put in? maybe a am. slave, sabbath breaker, or women of snares?  gifts or reach?

Am. Slave is nice because it generates a soul for you to rescue, which can help break sitelock (but you've got that handled already).

i forgot to add in holy grail from the beginning, so i added that and am. slave and took it down to 50.  I kinda wanna put in household idols though, just becasue it stops disciples and i have in 2 immune to lone hero guys.  i know its speed, but you need to have some kind of defense right?

Don't you have like a designated WEDDING to be worried about? lol, just kiddin'. I do think it's funny that I got on here to work on some travel plans for your wedding and then got on the message board only to see you listing the unthinkable: a speed deck. Who taught you to play anyway?  ;)
Now go mourn in dust and ashes and build a site lock out the Iowa way, lol.

I know, but i get tired of seeing all these speed decks posted and wanted to try my hand at one.  i feel kinda bad for doing it, since usually i use giant defenses, but it was worth a try.  ill be posting soon the deck i would use if i had the time to go to a tourny, but becasue of the wedding i havent had the time or money to go anywhere (which stinks becasue i really really really want a Goliath).  I cant even go to nats because theres another wedding i have to be at :(  we are looking forward to seeing you at the wedding joey, its been way way way too too long
