Teams tactics and stories

I've figured out a handful of successful strategies in TEAMS. Here are some tips for success

Make sure one of your opponents is Ring Wraith. That way the opponent playing defense of some sort won't be able to block you all game.
Story: My wonderful partner and I were playing Wanderer and jc. Ring Wraith "designed his deck to counter their offense". He maybe blocked once or twice that entire game.

Make sure one of your opponents is Ring Wraith. That way he'll let you discard his team's Son of God.
Story: Ring Wraith made me attack which ended up getting my SOG discarded by Pontius Pilate. I tried to stop him, but he was adamant.

If one of your opponents is Ring Wraith and the other isn't Rawrlolsauce, use The Bronze Lavar as much as you want and don't be aggressive. Your defense will hold out forever, beings your opponent's won't be playing offense.
Story: He always wants to increase his deck size to add more defense. 105 is already too much, child.

If one of your opponents is Ring Wraith, use Rain Becomes Dust. Only his partner will have Captured Arks, or DONs, or something to stop arts, and his entire deck is filled with drawing and Worship of Milcoms instead of blocks.
Story: We were hit with a 1st turn Rain Becomes Dust which really wrecked us beings we had a lot of drawing. I had DON and Captured Ark, but couldn't get them fast enough (thanks to the lack of drawing). Originally I told Ring Wraith to use Captured Ark but he took them out because he liked Pol better than me  :'(

More to come? (Don't be offended, this are all coming lovingly  :-*) Feel free to share your stories!

To be strictly accurate, my deck should have been a counter to Wanderer's offense, but I had no idea what jc was playing. Moral of the story: don't bother countering a deck. You never know when they'll change. Wanderer and jc tried that against us and it didn't really work either.

Make sure one of your opponents is Ring Wraith. That way he'll let you discard his team's Son of God.
Story: Ring Wraith made me attack which ended up getting my SOG discarded by Pontius Pilate. I tried to stop him, but he was adamant.
Moral of the story: always have SoG + NJ in both decks. At nats this year, my team was able to discard one opponent's only SoG, which won us the game, 2-0 (I think?). This story, Sauce was insistent that I not use Soggy that one tournament...

Moral of the story: deck size doesn't make a difference once it gets that big.

Originally I told Ring Wraith to use Captured Ark but he took them out because he liked Pol better than me  :'(
Moral of the Story: Who uses RBD?

Make sure that your teammate understands the proper use of GoyS.

Chris Bany: Alright then, here's your soul, and Falling Away.
Teammate (who shall remain nameless): No you don't!  I've got Guardian!

Make sure to use Windows of Narrow Light if your partner is Ring Wraith, so his hero is useful.
Story: He likes to use a really bad hero.
Moral: Don't use really bad cards.

Don't assume that just because you have a deck comprised of 80% evil cards and The Bronze Laver to cycle through them at breakneck speed, that you'll draw the one card you need that would win you the game...
