A couple of cards refer to "Canaanite Sites" - (e.g. Army of Jericho).

Which sites are Canaanite?

Thank you.

The REG has a comprehensive list for all things Canaanite.

Canaanite Sites
Canaanite Sites refer to locations within the land of Canaan.
Several Redemption® cards refer to Canaanite Sites. The following RedemptionTM cards refer to Canaanite Sites:
● Army of Jericho (CW), and Fortify Site (RA2)
The following RedemptionTM cards are considered Canaanite Sites:
● Canaan (RA2), Hormah (FF), Jericho (Pi), Pit of Dothan (Wo), Promised Land (Pa), and Sodom (Wa)

Put a soul in Promised Land (Pa)?

Watchman,

I noticed that you listed Promised Land (Pa) as a Canaanite site (per the REG). Isn't Promised Land (Pa) a multicolored (or rainbow) site? (I think it may have been created before they had "fortresses"). So, Promised Land may actually be a fortress (before they called them fortresses). Can you confirm this?

So, that begs the question -- can I put a lost soul in Promised Land (Pa)? If it is a fortress, I don't think you can do it, right?

Thanks

Promised land is a site, similar to dragon raid and new jerusalem (Wo) You can bring it into battle with you to get access to any site. It can hold a soul, but any hero can rescue it because it is rainbow colored.

Sites that are really Fortresses (before Forts existed) are only cards that mention they hold Heroes/Evil Characters and have been errata'd as such. There are very few of them though. Most old Multicolor Sites are just Sites like anything else.

Character holding Sites are from Warriors, I believe Females and Patriarchs are when they introduced Forts.

They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

Forts were introduced with C/D Starter decks--if my memory is correct, the icon was changed in between the first edition of C/D and the second edition.

Other Fortresses that have the Site icon include Potter's Field, Goshen and Kingdoms of the World (all from Warriors).
Fortress Alstad
Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?
