In type 2, when you use her, do you choose the lost soul before her ability goes off or can you dig the ls out and then choose that ls once it's dug out?

Not sure on the exact order where that is concerned, but you dont have to have acess to any LS to begin a Battle Challenge, you can even declare a RA with a soul that you cannot legally rescue (like the */4)

yeah, so you can dig but you can't rescue it that turn.
