Is wool fleece going to remain a prevent for the 2011-2012 tournament season?  Or is it going to be changed to a protect based on the wording?

As it was explained to me at nats:

It is a prevent because it just says "may not band".  Whereas protect wording is "may not BE ...", with BE being the important word.  I don't know whether or not there are changes planned though.

A change was discussed last year. There is logic to rule it both ways. There are also implications to ruling it either way. There were enough elders that felt it is correct to leave it as a prevent so no change is planned.
