Thirty Pieces of Silver
Quote
Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Regardless of battle outcome Hero is discarded. "David's Harp" has no effect. May be used twice. • Play As: Regardless of battle outcome, discard one Hero in play at the end of battle that you blocked. Negate David’s Harp. May be used once per battle and twice per game. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Matthew 26:15-16 • Availability: Apostles booster packs (Ultra Rare)

Is the "twice per game" part of the Play As correct, or is it a typo?  If it's correct, that seem more like an Errata than a Play As.

Yep, that's a "play as" oops.  Kinda like that Zac putting Forts in hands oops that was discovered recently.

Are you saying that you can only use TPoS twice per game regardless of how many you have in your deck (Type 2)? Or is this oops something else?

I'm saying the original wording on 30PoS does not limit it by using the "per game" verbage.  I assume that addition in the play as was a mistake.

Count, for the record, I'm saying that YOU* can only use 30PoS twice per game in T2.  The rest of us can use it up to 6 times if we have 3 in our deck.  :D

Since YOU is in all caps, it's official.

OHHHHH. That's a relief. I was thinking I was going to have to learn to count to 6.  ;D

That should either be posted as an errata on the Errata thread or it is a typo on the play-as...  I asked in the past on the forums, and it was decided that it was able to be used twice in one battle, much like Ark of the Covenant.  However, I don't recall the verdict about if it was a per game limitation or per copy limitation. (The thread was purged.)

The Warriros version of Ark have since been changed to match the Kings version so it can only be used once per battle.  I'm not sure if that's the case with 30 pieces or not but from the language I would assume so since the original verbage (Hero) is singular.

That is not what the play as in the REG says...

"After your rescue attempt or battle challenge, discard an Evil Character that was used to block.  Limit two discards per game."

That is the same play as for both versions.

It was crossed out in red because the s/a on the card already made it clear. I apologize for bolding the wrong part.

That's my point exactly.  "an Evil Character" is singular.  You cannot discard two in the same turn.

That is interesting, all this time I think my brain translated the "an" to "any" since that is how I wanted it to be...

My apologies for the confusion.

Back to original question, though, since Ark specifies "per game," and the cards have basically the same intent, I would argue that the "play as" for TPoS says exactly what it was supposed to.
My wife is a hottie.
