If a card is played in a side battle then a negate all (Mask of fear) is played in the main battle after the side battle completes. Is the enhancement played in the side battle negated?

I would have to say "yes" based on this from the REG (Fight Each Other -> Special Conditions):

If the special ability that caused the side battle is negated during any battle, the consequences of the side battle are undone.

This would of course exclude those cards that "Cannot be negated."

If my cards are played in the Side Battle, and then brought back into the Main Battle and then Mask of Fear is played, my side battle cards don't become unplayed. My understanding was, that if they are brought back into the main battle and not negated in the side battle, they gained a CBN status in the main battle. Maybe I misunderstood the explanation when it was given to me.

The negate all would target the card that started the side battle, thus undoing all the actions that occurred in the side battle.
