Set-aside and reset

If I convert a hero to a different good brigade with Gold Shield, and that hero ends up getting set aside by a card effect, is that hero reset back to his original brigade while in set aside and/or upon his return to play? I did not see anything in the REG under Set Aside.

Setting a card aside does not reset it to face value.

You can reset a card to face value by putting it in the discard pile, deck, a hand, the banish pile or Reserve.

Ok thanks. I was thinking that but wasn’t sure. The reason why I asked was because set aside is out of play so I was thinking it may reset when the card goes out of play (such as to hand, deck, etc) in general.
