Counsel of Abigail

Counsel of Abigail -The effect of the last enhancement card played in current battle may be interrupted and its effect is prevented and redirected to the Evil Character of your choice.

Ok so my friend play a red hero.

I play a Roman with Hamman's Charriorts and play false peace.

He plays Counsel of Abigail.

Q: Can he redirect my enhancement to search his deck for any card???

Counsel of Abigail (Errata):
Interrupt the last enhancement played this battle and either negate it or redirect it.

Ok so the description of the card was changed????

I think they need a reprint on that card then, as well as Holy Grail and a bunch of other cards that are not the same any more.    :police:

And using false peace against me.... that stinks.

But it is also really cool that you can do that. If you have a redirect card in hand or your deck.

so you redirect it to an evil character? What if you dont have one?
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

As Mr. Aggie pointed out, the "to an evil character" part of the ability shouldn't've been there. The errata just says to "negate it or redirect it."

Redirect wasn't that clear back then.  It's only slightly more clear now.  The simple version is: I do what you would have done with that card.

It is not very cost efficient to simply reprint the 22 cards that were errata'd.  With such a small number, it is easy enough to refer to a small list with the correct abilities listed.  Three of them are reprinted as it is.

Fair enough.  As a host I suppose I should have a printed copy of those on hand in case some players may be unaware of those changes.

I for one didn't know about the change to CoA, as well as cards like Holy Grail. Having to convert evil charaters before the battle is much diferent then being able to convert them once they are in battle.

You needn't convert them before battle, just in territory.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
