"Cannot Be Blocked" - New Ruling?

I went to a tournament recently, and the tournament host informed us that a new ruling had been made that "Cannot Be Blocked" is now the same thing as ignore. First of all, where is this ruling? And, does it mean that you can use I Am Love and I Am Truth with Scarlet Line?

It's been that way for years. Check the REG section on Ignore.

And the white covenants require the word "ignore" to be present in the special ability, which is not the case for Scarlet Line.

Oh, well that's what I meant - that CBB is the exact same as ignore, or at least that's what I thought was meant.

The special ability is the same, just not the words. If the SA says that it must have the word "ignore" in it, then the words have to be the same. If a ruling is required about what "cannot be blocked" means, then the ruling is exactly the same as "ignore."

That's strange.. I asked someone recently about this (don't remember whom) and he said that I am Truth works with Scarlet Line (that is, makes Scarlet Line non-negatable). The previous post in this thread seems to indicate the opposite.

Since the word "ignore" is in quotes, it requires that the word "ignores" be in the special ability. Scarlet Line does not have the word "ignore" in the SA, so it does not qualify for I am Truth. If a card just says an "ignore ability," then Scarlet Line would qualify.

I agree with the ruling. If it read "with an ignore special ability," then perhaps it would be different, but not in this case.
